Awami Girls’ High School & Jr. College has achieved a proud milestone by receiving the “Best School – First Rank” award in the M/E Ward Level Science Exhibition for the academic year 2025–26, organized by the Education Department of the Brihanmumbai North Division.
The award was presented during the Science Exhibition and Co-Scholastic Activities Program (Vigyan Pradarshan va Sahashaley Upakram) conducted under the theme “STEM for Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat.” The event aimed to encourage scientific thinking, innovation, and creativity among students across schools in the M/E Ward.
The recognition was awarded to the school through Mrs. Anjum Sabiha Shaikh, representing Awami Girls’ High School & Jr. College, Govandi. The institution secured First Rank in the ward, highlighting its outstanding contribution to science education and innovative student participation.
